Pressure guage testing facility – NSTS test approved master guage, which is checked and certificated annually. Glycerine guages are recommended as they give a “smooth” pressure reading. Click for useful tips
1. Protect from frost
2. Avoid excessive pressure surges, usually the guage does not return to zero as the Bordon tube is strained.
3. Replace the guage if the needle does not return to zero.
Use a guage with an adequate range.
5. A 4” guage is easier to read than a 2 ½” guage.
6. For liquid fertiliser use a guage which is completely stainless steel including the internal workings.
